To get mail you must send mail

If you have drank the kool-aid and are game to try out this whole snail mail thing, I thought I would try to make it easy for you.

Here is a list of sites that facilitate the exchange of snail mail.

Some are global. Some organize in-person meet ups.  Some even take swapping letters to a whole new level by encouraging the sending of ‘stuff.’   Yeah, you had no idea right?  I know.

Children’s Pen Pal Exchange – The Petit Cadeau

Happy Mail Project

International Geek Girls Pen Pals

Jane Austen Letter Writing Society

 Letter Exchange

Letter Writers Alliance

Lovely Letters Community

Michelle Houts’s 52 Letters in a Year Challenge

Perfect Strangers

Pen Pal World

Pen Pal of the Week

Petit Mail

Postcard Happiness Project

Post Crossing

Snail Mail Ideas

The Letter Exchange

Victorian Letter Writers Guild

Give it a try yourself or get those kids you know involved.  It could be so retro it just might become new again.  Enjoy.

P.S.  This list is but a few sites I have come across in my snail mail travels.  I would love to continue to build it as a resource, so please let me know of other sites you would recommend or know about.
