I was walking past a store the other day and the window display caught my eye. At first, I thought I was looking at the tail of a dragon. But as I approached the window to get a closer look, I was completely surprised to discover that the “structure” was made of…..paper airplanes! How cool is that. Those folks at J.Crew clearly are a creative bunch!
And so I was inspired by paper airplanes! I love when inspiration hits. Usually it is at some random, unexpected moment, from sources that could not have been predicted.
School is out for the summer and so the cliche association of school and paper airplanes is finished for the season. But therein lies the reason to be inspired… to do something a little different with the ordinary. Rite now.
Here are 3 ideas to get busy with this summer using paper airplanes:
1) Try this adorable embroidery airplane or your own variation.
2) Write a letter on a piece of paper and then fold it into a paper airplane. Pop it in the mail. Who would not love getting that in the mail?
3) And for all you fashionista’s out there I bet you can’t wait to try this nail art!
